It has now been published and can be accessed at www.dioceseofbrentwood.net/laudatosi You will find lots of resources such as prayers, links and ideas to help you play your part in practical ways to protect our planet from further damage, by caring for our common home.

For background please see Laudato Si and COP26

Diocesan Prayer

There is a special Diocesan prayer, written for the launch of our Laudato Si’ Invitations, Commitments and Actions; you are warmly welcome to download and pray the prayer It is in a “display version” which will print cleanly so that you can use it at home, in your parish or at school.”

When you visit Christ The King Church please pick up from the table in the porch:

  • a copy of your personal invitation to pray and act, to cherish God’s creation and strive for justice for the world’s poorest people
  • a pledge card so you can commit to the action you choose to take. Please keep the blue part of your card visible at home as a reminder and return the green part to the Church using the post box on the table in the porch. We would like to refer to these commitments by displaying them on a notice board to inspire other people. Your pledges are of course anonymous and a matter between you and God.
